Change the way you change

I am a social designer and researcher, especially fond of working on matters concerning education, social injustice, participatory futures and inclusivity. To me, design is a tool for unfolding social complexities and can be used as a means of inquiry, strategy and embodiment for driving systemic change.

In my work, I like to combine a systemic approach with a participatory approach to get a deep understanding of the invisible structures of the context as well as the lived experiences of the people in it. I believe in the power of embodying complexity to engage all kinds of people in a meaningful way. Lasting change happens when disciplines come together, and I am proud to be able to do my part as a designer at Livework.

Thoughtful rebel with a masters in Strategic Design (Delft University of Technology). I get energy from collaborating on complex societal issues that don’t have ready-made answers. I like to get to the bottom of things and to take you along. To do so, I combine asking big questions with getting my hands dirty, drawing on principles and methods from strategic, systemic, participatory and speculative design.
