Our role is to ensure that the service works for patients and clinicians – and that it is designed collaboratively – both locally and nationally – to speed adoption and quality.

• Alleviates pressure on emergency service
• Frees space to reduce waiting lists
• Reduces infections and de-conditioning
Moreover 71% of people would prefer care at home.

Pathways, metrics and governance
Livework is working with MFT to provide them with the ability to expand their excellent Virtual Ward.
By helping to document operating procedures and pathways, define outcomes and metrics and connect this into the governance of the service we will have a robust platform to build on.

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust
Helping to launch a Virtual Ward
In 2023 the UK government made a big push requiring the NHS to implement virtual wards.
For Sussex with their commitment to service design based on patients and staff needs the place to start with on the frontline.
We defined the requirements of their new Virtual Ward ensuring that it was as good as possible from day one.

I am a founding partner of Livework having set-up the company in 2001. My focus on keeping Livework at the forefront of service design practice and ensuring we continue to create value for our clients.
